Using the AIR Check-in app

Completing a Check-in

On the Home Screen, you will see the “Pending Check-in” reminder in yellow. Tap on the yellow “Pending Check-in” notification icon to access the check-in questionnaire. Answer all of the questions in the questionnaire, and when complete, simply tap the “Submit” button. In the event you have failed to answer all of the questions, the app will automatically notify you there are questions that need to be answered. In this case, you will get a notification to either “Submit Anyway” or “Cancel.” If you select “Cancel” you will return to the questionnaire in order to answer the questions that were not answered the first time. You can then select “Submit” again.

Prior to completing the completing a questionnaire submission, the Check-in app needs to verify the identity of the person answering the questionnaire. The app can verify a person’s identity either through use of a PIN, the person’ electronic signature, a photo of the person captured at the time of the check-in, or a fingerprint scan (if the phone meets the technology requirements). Once the app properly identifies the individual, the AIR Check-in app then displays that the check-in is complete. The completed Check-in can then be viewed by selecting the History icon.

Check-in and Calendar Item Status Indicators

Unsubmitted calendar items show up as a red item on the app’s home screen. When you see this, take the device to an area with good connectivity and tap the "submit" button to submit your check-in.

Pending check-ins (current requests waiting to be submitted) appear as yellow. Simply tap the item to begin filling out the questionnaire.

All calendar items appear on the app’s home screen. In addition, all new reminders and calendar items appear as a pop up on the phone’s home screen or in the banner of the phone’s home screen. Each reminder and notification creates a tone when first displayed on your phone.

Active calendar items will appear blue, while all upcoming and past events appear white.
