Louisiana 32nd Judicial District Drug Court Case Study - using Corrisoft’s AIR® Program to improve overall program success.

In the summer of 2019, the 32nd Judicial District Drug Court (JDC) in Terrebonne, Louisiana implemented Corrisoft’s AIR® program in an effort to address many of the agency’s biggest challenges. The 32nd JDC wanted to make the program’s first phase more effective as well as find a way to sanction participants for non-compliance without sending them to jail. Specifically, the 32nd JDC wanted to accomplish the following:

  • Shorten the length of time it takes participants to complete phase I
  • Improve the participant success rate for phase I
  • Lower the frequency of non-compliance, especially in phase I
  • Reduce their reliance on jail sanctions for compliance enforcement

We felt like if we could communicate with our participants on a more frequent and consistent basis, we could provide more support and better manage their activity.
