How it works.

We’ve worked closely with corrections officials, officers, former offenders, legislators, judges and courts to re-engineer the probation and parole system, utilizing the latest technologies to create a smarter, safer and truly more effective system.

AIR Dashboards

First, we built a secure web-based platform that connects existing systems and databases. This gives supervisors vast amounts of information at their fingertips. It streamlines and automates many tasks and procedures, which allows supervisors to be far more productive and efficient and frees them to assist participants that need more attention.

AIR Mobile™

Second, we developed AIR Mobile™, a sophisticated cell phone equipped with advanced GPS, boundary-specific geo-fencing and numerous voice authentication protocols to ensure identity authentication and safeguard the integrity of the system.

24/7 AIR Support

We also incorporated a 24/7 support staff and call center to help ensure participant success. The highly specialized AIR Support Agents are always available to monitor activity, connect participants with important resources, and provide answers and encouragement.

We believe that only by empowering individuals and connecting them with the resources and services they need, will we ever solve one of society’s greatest challenges: preventing recidivism and lowering corrections costs.

Through partnerships with colleges, businesses and unique service providers, we’ve assembled a vast network of resources for participants. Help with housing, job searches, substance abuse counseling, parenting workshops, GED and vocational resources—all are built into the AIR system.

The Recidivism Deterrent System also equips participants with calendars, planners and alerts—tools that many of us take for granted—to help them better meet the conditions of their sentences and increase their chances of success.

To reduce recidivism in a meaningful way, we must help participants truly turn their lives around. That's where you can help.

Only by giving participants greater access to employment opportunities, education and vocational training, workshops and classes, mental health and substance abuse programs, will they have the resources and skills they need to truly change.

Within the AIR system, we've created AIR Exchange, a community network that matches AIR Participants with the services, job opportunities, therapists, counselors, universities and colleges that meet their specific needs. By matching participants with opportunities for employment or counseling or education, our AIR Exchange is a critical component in our efforts to greatly reduce recidivism.
